It happened once upon a time that a certain Greek ship bound for Athens was wrecked off the coast close to Piraeus, the port of Athens. Had it not been for the Dolphins, who at that time were very friendly toward mankind and especially toward Athenians, all would have perished. But the Dolphins took the shipwrecked people on their backs and swam with them to shore.
Now it was the custom among the Greeks to take their pet monkeys and dogs with them whenever they went on a voyage. So when one of the Dolphins saw a Monkey struggling in the water, he thought it was a man, and made the Monkey climb up on his back. Then off he swam with him toward the shore.
The Monkey sat up, grave and dignified, on the Dolphin's back.
"You are a citizen of illustrious Athens, are you not?" asked the Dolphin politely.
"Yes," answered the Monkey, proudly. "My family is one of the noblest in the city."
"Indeed," said the Dolphin. "Then of course you often visit Piraeus."
"Yes, yes," replied the Monkey. "Indeed, I do. I am with him constantly. Piraeus is my very best friend."
This answer took the Dolphin by surprise, and, turning his head, he now saw what it was he was carrying. Without more ado, he dived and left the foolish Monkey to take care of himself, while he swam off in search of some human being to save.
moral: One falsehood leads to another.

THE NORTH WIND AND THE SUN
The North Wind and the Sun had a quarrel about which of them was the stronger. While they were disputing with much heat and bluster, a Traveler passed along the road wrapped in a cloak.
"Let us agree," said the Sun, "that he is the stronger who can strip that Traveler of his cloak."
"Very well," growled the North Wind, and at once sent a cold, howling blast against the Traveler.
With the first gust of wind the ends of the cloak whipped about the Traveler's body. But he immediately wrapped it closely around him, and the harder the Wind blew, the tighter he held it to him. The North Wind tore angrily at the cloak, but all his efforts were in vain.
Moral: Gentleness and kind persuasion win where force and bluster fail.

THE FIGHTING COCKS AND THE EAGLE
Once there were two Cocks living in the same farmyard who could not bear the sight of each other. At last one day they flew up to fight it out, beak and claw. They fought until one of them was beaten and crawled off to a corner to hide.
The Cock that had won the battle flew to the top of the hen-house, and, proudly flapping his wings, crowed with all his might to tell the world about his victory. But an Eagle, circling overhead, heard the boasting chanticleer and, swooping down, carried him off to his nest.
His rival saw the deed, and coming out of his corner, took his place as master of the farmyard.
Moral: Pride goes before a fall.

Megamind
"Bad guys are also good guys!" This statement is quite defining. Really it is,
bad guys still has a good side left in their hearts. Even they looked as the worst person because of their personalities, bad guys are also humans and humans also has a feelings. We are all not perfect and guessed we all know that. Whether your good or not people around you still has something to say about you.
The movie entitled Megamind is what Im reffering on my first statement. As we can see, this movie is defining a good guy's acts and a bad guy's doings. Well, in this movie Megamind is always the bad guy in the first part and Metro is always the hero. Megamind is an evil genius who turns over to the good side after realising that he dont need to be evil at all.Megamind used to envy his rival: Metroman, who use to be the hero of their town. Since childhood megamind dont have any friend and a complete loner. Until one day,his rival was finally gone. And so, starting from that day, he slowly became the hero of their town,thanks to his inspiration: Roxanne, the evil genius turned into a good, gentle superhero.
Megamind mispronouncing words is supposed to be funny. The beginning is the most effective part when we get the back story. The middle really slows up with Megamind starting to fall for Roxanne. It’s suddenly a slow moving, kind of lazy, romantic comedy. I don’t remember laughing once during the middle hour of this film. That issue falls directly on the script.The film looks great in 3D. That’s pretty much standard for animated films these days. So, because it’s just the latest in a long line, and not first to break new ground. It’s not that memorable to look at. The final battle will definitely keep your attention.
This movie was such a good time and had a surprising amount of depth for the type of comedy/super hero parody I was expecting, very enjoyable watch and def worth seeing for kids and adults. I felt Megamind’s story really focused on him and his issues as a character without the aid of little yellow critters making fart jokes.
Personally I found Megamind entertaining and surprising. Maybe my opinion is amateur, I Guess that is why I’m not a critic :)

AUTHOBIOGRAPHY
My name is LYKA JOY MAAGAD. I was born last March 4,1997. I'm now 13 yrs old. I live at PCH-1 Damilag,Manolo Fortich,Bukinon. My father's name is Allan B. Maagad. He is good in working. And my mother's name is Ma.Lorie C. Mar. she's housewife, but she's good at all esp. in solving Math subject. -I have 4 (four) siblings. Their name is ORLAN JAY,VANESSA JANE,ALLAN JOSEPH and JOHN PAUL. We're a big family. we're always happy.
I like playing sports like softball,volleyball and soccer. But I like on playing softball. My hobbies are eating,surfing the internet. I have facebook, twitter,ym and friendster acount. I also like on going to mall and travel the whole Philippines. Last summer travel in camiguin and bohol. I have a lot of fun there. so travel in cebu I'm "balikbayan" there. I hate eating durians because for me it's not tasty and it has a bad smell. -I'm friendly to all. I want to sacrice my life for my beloved family and friends.
When I'm still in Elementary I do not too focus in doing my assignments and projects. But now,I learn on ow to focus on it. I love o do my assignment and projects with all my effort just to have higher grades. So I hope my dreams came true that I'll be success after I graduated collage.
